Description
Our most popular moss, the Reindeer moss is actually a lichen that grows in northern climates along the forest floor. With thicker, fluffier branches, this moss can soften any space but is particularly used for large wall applications or custom frames due to its longevity and the assortment of colour availability.
This moss is sensitive to low humidity levels and may dry if this level is too low (usually between November and March). This will not reduce its lifespan as the moss will become soft again at the end of the winter.

Conditions of use
Generalities: Preserved moss is a natural product that can last for up to 8+ years. Variations in texture and colour may exist. A fragrance can be associated with some species; based on our experience, the smell is 99% of the time acceptable and fades fairly quickly but in some cases, it will take a lot more time. On average it takes 4-6 weeks. Spray scents on the moss will ruin the preservative and make it a lot more difficult for the smell to fade. For more information, please contact us.
Humidity/Temperature: Moss is best kept indoors at normal room temperature and humidity levels. Avoid putting the moss in contact with water or direct sunlight to prevent the moss from fading or drying. In the winter, the moss can dry out but it should get its texture back around spring when the humidity levels are back to normal.
